If anything, I am hoping these law suits will show we should never do mass mail in voting again...no matter the circumstances.

We don't have to show our ID in IL, but we do have to verify our signature and address. We are also assigned to a precinct to vote, which I've voted at for the past 5 years.

And signatures are easy to forge, ergo a Federal Voter ID Law is a necessity for Federal Elections.

So is faking your identification though, albeit much more difficult to pull off. I guarantee that if I walked in to vote with another Asian American's ID, I would get a pass

For federal elections there needs to be a standard format with a required ID.

This was tried and I think thrown out due to costs and access, IIRC.

And, I don't want to have to get another ID. State level ID should be adequate, IMO. (Although, I am open to other opinions)

What about fingerprints? That's an easy way to identify someone.
