The lawsuits filed by the outgoing administration were always going to be performative, one last chance for Trump to to not do the 'done thing' and ignore political normals.

It was still interesting/amusing to see the press conferences with all the anger and allegations, then see Giuliani standing in front a judge and declare that he was making no allegations of irregularities or improprieties, he was also submitting no evidence of either to the courts. It certainly made SCOTUS' job easy, no need to examine a case if nobody made a case.

The Texas lawsuit was just plain funny. Screw The Constitution, just hand Texas power over four other states that didn't vote the way Texas wanted them to. Evidence? Don't need no stinkin' evidence!

To me there's two big questions left to answer.
1) What happens to the almost billion dollars of personal debt Donald Trump has (allegedly) run up through his two campaigns and four years in office? He's had six companies go Chapter 11 before, but this is on him, not a limited company. That could get spicy.

2) Where does the Republican party go from here? On the one hand Trump delivered them a presidency and the highest recorded number of voters ever. On the other hand he lost the popular vote by a record amount twice in a row. I'm sure he'll want to run in 2024, but will the GOP want to trade the popular vote for his loyal followers? Or will they consider hoping the EC will save them too great of a risk and go for someone more likely to get the middle voters?
