I recall reading that, as well. Trickle up economics works, too, IMO. Just like stimulus checks help.
I remember the 07/08 crash and how republicans kept saying "We can't spend our way out of this", when, in reality, that's exactly what needed to be done. Trump gets it when he tells congress to pass the next stimulus and says "It all comes back to America, anyhow".

I don't think it's anything to do with a certain candidate. They just do anything to try to break the US include keeping civil unrest going. The media does this, too...
You would think that is a good thing, at least i do. By perhaps the idea of Russia and the United States as bitter enemies is a good thing.
I have heard nothing but bad things about the cold war.
But perhaps the constant threat and fear of a nuclear war has some benefits that i am just too dumb to see.- Status
