Just curious if the "gold" material will eventually fade just like the xx metal 24k?

Not quite. I'm almost certain it's anodized.

The answer is, if he's worried about the coating... send em to me and I will be glad to take care of em

I would think that the coating on the 24K XS / Juliets is less susceptible to "fading" that the XX... but it is a "coating" so I'm sure it can be removed somehow.

If it is ordinary coating will it tarnish over ordinary sweat contact?
Especially if exposed to tropical weather...

I wouldn't think that a pair of 24K's would be your daily go-to wear pair in the PI but... they should be fine if you wipe them down after use.

This is just me but I tend to justify an expensive purchase if I can wear it daily.

IMO it will outlast the finish on the XX 24K by a long shot.
