I’m lost, serial # is JB03128, not JP03128 why are you guys referring to “JP”?

I can see it is a B and not a P now in the prefix - still remains a 1st gen, though....

Nice — sounds like you got a solid deal then. It was likely just a personalized piece. Oakley did stuff like that back in the day, including engravings, and honestly the value really comes down to provenance and significance.
If this were, say, a #23 Michael Jordan “Black Cat” with the exact same pair, it would obviously be worth significantly more — but only with rock‑solid provenance to prove authenticity and justify the value.
I also couldn’t find anything tied to that name, and given how unique it is, if there were real significance (an athlete, exec, or higher‑profile individual like you mentioned), something should come up.
