Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Curry 2 Retro "Iron Sharpens Iron"

Back in 2015, believe I posted in this very thread, I was in a different position and went with the D.Rose 6 instead. Nice to be able to revisit these. I like how these play and perhaps a reliable go-to.

Nike Kyrie 2 iD

More 2015 throwbacks. I've done the 3 through Infinity, was meaning to get these to keep on with exploring, but was waiting for more favorable prices.
With the news everyone is probably aware of, that shifted into the possibility of these getting harder to get (with the glue getting older). Tried to use them the other day, but I really need to break them in because my toe is hitting the rock-solid front with certain movements.

Puma MB.02

Kinda underestimated how strong Puma would respond to the complains about low stock with the previous model. Possibly could've waited until discount because don't bring too much new to the table....which is a good thing.
It's very similar to the MB.01. From a utility standpoint, you can just run your MB.01's to the ground and then grab these later if you want more of the same shoe.

Objectively does everything well, but I think I prefer the Nike Deldon and jury's out on the Kyrie 8.

Air Jordan 1 - "Chicago Reimagined"/"Lost and Found"

Really wasn't something I was dying for, but it was one of those cases where I wouldn't say no if I won a local raffle.

I'm definitely in the camp that doesn't put these up with the actual Chicago colorway, but I like that there's something to wear more guilt-free in comparison.

Nice pickup man. I was able to scoop the L on this L&F drop. Rather, I lost my W and found my L lmao. Nice pickup man
Thanks. What I like the most is that it's not really a Chicago. I mean yeah resale gonna resale, but otherwise, I doubt it's gonna be as high. It never started "clean" so I'm doing things like going to Target and throwing out trash without a care in the world. In a weird way I'd like to believe that's sticking true to the backstory/theme of this release: Finding leftovers for cheap and probably not knowing at that time that they would become in society. A person who just wanted shoes to wear..

I'm a sucker for buying retro re-releases of sneakers I've had in the past. I remember balling every day after school at the YMCA in these. Too bad these don't still have the DMX air moving tech in them anymore that moved air from the front to the back as you stride. That was the most comfortable shoe tech I remember from back then. I think only Reebok's walking shoes have DMX anymore.

What's in the pods now? Or where is the cushion instead.

I was jealous of anyone in 9th or 10th grade that had these! Good pickup!

There might be some air movement system, but it sure doesn't feel like it used to. it's not in the pods and no where near as obvious to feel it working. I saw a Weartesters video on the white/red colorway from a couple years ago that said there was still one lower profile air unit in the front and one in the rear that had a tube between them. not sure if it's the same on this release. they are still comfortable though. there is no mention of DMX on the box or the shoe at all that I noticed.

I'll have to check them out! Where can someone cop a pair? Did you go straight to reeboks website?

I love this thread. @Ventruck has really helped explain tech too. Saves me time from watching the Sole Bros and Wear Tester reviews at times.
