Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Jordan Luka 1

More court time = more interested in newer designs again.
Had my eyes on this because Luka's go-to were Kobe's before singing the Jordan deal.
As a first signature installment, it's predictably simple.
So that + the general design build of being a responsive low cut, I had high hopes I'd get exactly what I expected from a product for cheap price of entry.

And after one shootaround session, it seems like the case. Very close fitting for me, with that "pop" into the heel like most low Kobe designs. The midsole setup is responsive, but I would've liked a Zoom unit to act as a minor relief on either end of the shoe.

Forgot I had these! Andy Warhol x Converse Chuck Taylor.

I’ve had them for around 8 or 9 years now?? I lost them and stumbled across them in my closet lol

Copped these LeBron 19 kicks earlier this week from the Nike.com Labor Day sale. Yeah, your foot are not moving around in them kicks, well not if you're merely walking in them.

Copped the leather Chucks today at the outlets...

Yeah the LeBrons can be boots lol.

A bit harder to get, but if you get the Asian market Nike EP pairs (or "PF" under Jordan), they are supposed to be a bit wider with harder rubber for added longevity.

I ended up returning the Lebron's and getting them in a larger size. My right foot is a temperamental beast, forcing the change.

I did the exchange in store, apparently, you have to be a Nike member to get free/even exchanges. Luckily, I am.

I got the purple ones.

Purps go hard.

As for being a Nike member. I resent the feeding the machine thing, but at the same time it's been a straightforward...relationship. Free shipping and all that. I don't think I've gotten overly spammed by them or anything.

I’m afraid to ask. I don’t have a lot of shoes. Maybe 40 pairs

I’m afraid to ask how many y’all have.

I know there’s a few shoe investors. I wonder how the wives deal with them taking up so much storage 🤣

I didn't know there was any perks for the membership besides it being free. If I didn't have the membership, I would have paid $34 because the shoe was $120 in store vs the $88 from the Labor Day Store.

I get emails every so often, not bad.
