Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Everyone makes mistakes but what a bummer for that buyer. I guess none of your orders are missing?

I got the Jordan XI slide sandals I ordered. 2 boxes showed up instead of 1. The Travis Scott's weren't from my seller. Ebay said they would look into it, but they haven't called back since Friday. I saw there were like 30 pairs in this size sold on ebay in the last week, but none of the pictures have a retailer sticker on the box that match the angle of a sticker on this box. Some of them are stock pictures so that doesn't mean much though.

You've done more detective work than them. That's for sure!

Nike Air Deldon
2nd pair, half size up to run different insoles. Long story short it wasn't all as great as I hoped. Got this on mad disco, which help makes it east to let go of, but at the same time this shoe does so many things right imo. It just can't stay because I have too much shoes, and it slightly looses out in response/feedback. Bit of a shame Elena's signature line stops at one, as most women athletes can't get successive signature models.

Air Ship PE "Tech Grey"
Really, really nice build. Fits more TTS than a Jordan 1 imo. Doesn't look quite as good, but works out well. It's nice that it has the tooling setup similar to the Jordan 1 High '85 (more sculpted and board-lasted). For the money, I'd probably call it the best bang for buck as far as functional quality goes. As a resale investment, probably not, but I'm not in that game.

Nike Vandal High x Stüssy
Was watching clips of Terminator, and while I've been in the 80's basketball shoe mode again, well you can kinda see how that adds up.

I'm also fascinated by its history, supposedly being sold in department stores as a more generic athletic shoe. As a casual shoe, very comfortable. Was shooting around with it and that outsole grips stupid-well. Too bad the upper can't keep up (for at least this variant).

Nike Ja 1 "Ember Glow"

Same designer as the Kyrie line, and that was perhaps my favorite line as of late. Of course we know what happened there, and I was a bit pooped to see an end to the design evolution.

However having a clean slate can sometimes be nice. Usually simpler, of course cheaper as well.
The Ja 1 is a fun wear. I've found nothing particular about it that would create problems for most wearers other than those who want very elaborate cushion. Straightforward no-nonsense low cut.

Dunk Low By You

Ordered a month ago when it was limited access. As of time of this post, it looks widely available now. They purposely block the option to build a "Panda" colorway so you have to buy the doodoo cardboard GR that keeps re-releasing
I think we're seeing the peak of Dunk saturation. Materials are better than GR, but are most likely some recycled stuff in order the make this production sustainable.

Gave these a shot because I wanted to experiment with how it performs. Also, I liked the NBY high, esp half size down. These don't translate the same way. A little tighter overall, but the closeness of the fit actually sheds light to how it could work out for basketball. Opportunity to mess with the Mint color is cool.

This might be the first time I let go of an NBY. I don't hate it, but it's the epitome of "like it; don't love it" to the point I think I would've been happier with making another High. Even if the fit improved after a few wears, the shoe doesn't take well to aftermarket insoles.

I haven’t done a Nike custom yet.

I miss the Nike Dunk Free from years ago. Dunk styling with comfy insoles.

That’s silly they block a particular style 😂

LeBron 2 Retro:
Very comfortable casually, unfortunately very slippery shoe to try to play in (at least for me)

Air Zoom Generation Retro

Maybe I'm dumb for grabbing at retail, but this has been nagging me on the bucket list. All around decent shoe. I guess there's a little disappointment with just the long anticipation I held out for. It's really not bad. My expectations weren't high, but I still hoped for a surprise of sorts.

Sabrina 1

Glad I got an early pair as I might go to town on NBY. It's got a lot of traits similar to a Kobe. I kinda wish the heel was rounder with more rebound to it. Long strides in transition are kinda the weak point. Everything else is actually really good imo.

Kyrie Low 5

One of, if not the favorite for me so far this year. 3rd and likely last pair of these. Across the line there are a few colorways I wish I picked up, but I've got more than enough.
