Asking For Help Can Be Tricky

When an item is posted publicly as an auction or not sold yet, it’s free for the taking in my eyes, but personally, I wouldn’t post on the forum something you’re trying to buy. It is pretty low to try and buy something out from under another forum member trying to arrange a way to buy/get it.

When an item is already purchased and someone else contacts the seller to get the seller to cancel the sale and sell to them is what I’m talking about. That’s what I have a real issue with.

THIS

I absolutely hate that .. . happened to me on a car forum.. Guy was parting out a car he purchased and had no idea that the wheels were forged monobloc racing wheels .. he was selling them for $900 with tires when a used set usually goes for 3k... we make a deal and day before I drive up he says he’s keeping them .. week later wheels go back up for sale for three times the amount and I ask him what’s up. He says he made a mistake but I looked back on the original sales thread and some member commented “dude that’s such a great deal considering they are worth three times more than what you’re asking .....” guy who commented was the one who ultimately bought them ..

I’ll be the first to admit I get a little jelly when someone scores a great deal but I’m glad and happy that it’s someone from here who can truly appreciate the product ...

Duck that. Ill snipe any mfkr on here!
