Carbon C-Six with 24k Lenses

Look at the rotor turbines. @Chris A Hardaway cut me a set of chromes for an aluminum pair out of those. I think they are the only lens that can be used as a donor.
 
Ah. I'm sure there are other lenses. How about this:

I know that rotor turbines can work as donor lenses.
 
Turbine Rotors do work because the blank size is large enough. However they are an Ellipsoid curve, meaning they curve about a 7 base curve horizontally around the face (nice fit). The vertical curvature is less in the 4-5 range if I recall correctly. The way I look at it is truly that this is how oakley is doing almost all their frames now, flatter base curves, or ellipsoid curves. I can do higher end lens blanks to do custom cuts in many mirror colors. But they are priced like RX lenses basically. So polarized polycarbonate with mirror and backside Anti-glare (true elite status) runs in the $280 range... :)
