First Release Serial Number

Good day,

I am new to the forum and just wanted to check whether the serial number on my glasses is from the first release as I did purchase these late 1999 which would fit?

That's a pretty high serial for the first year of release. Are you sure it was 99?

Thank you for your reply. I thought is was 1999 but it may have been early 2000. I bought these before going to a “lads” holiday in Mexico but it was definitely around that time as I bought these before I meet my wife at the end of 2000. I have seen a link with a list of serial numbers and this is the only entry I could find to match.
