It appears only the frame shape is different, according to OAKLEY.comIs the base curvature of the standard Flak XLJ lens the same or different than a Flak XLJ Asia Fit lens?
Standard is 8.75
Asian?
Thanks for responding. I thought that was the case, but it's a bit vague or at least left un-said. I know when I bought Asian Fit Fives Squared lenses they wouldn't fit the non-Asian frame. I'm interested in the Flak lenses as donors for Xmetal cuts, so want to be certain. It appears only the frame shape is different, according to OAKLEY.comView attachment 143549
I can tell you 100 percent that the lenses are NOT interchangeable between the Asian fit and the standard fit. Tried them both ways and definitely a no go.
Thanks. So that's probably the same for Flaks 1 and 2...I can tell you 100 percent that the lenses are NOT interchangeable between the Asian fit and the standard fit. Tried them both ways and definitely a no go.
Check the inside of the arm... It'll say either Flak or Flak 2.0I bought them in Nov '14. Not sure if 1 or 2....
I was referring to the Flak 2.0. I'm not sure about the original Flak.I can tell you 100 percent that the lenses are NOT interchangeable between the Asian fit and the standard fit. Tried them both ways and definitely a no go.
If you bought them in November they aren't 2.0s. Those were just released this month.I bought them in Nov '14. Not sure if 1 or 2....
