It's a known issue.

The mounting tab on some of the orbitals was ground wrong,too much of a radius.first gen had sharp square tabs. not sure if the radius was breaking down in the mold or somebody Finishing them too much on a grinding wheel

Obviously I'm not familiar with the way they were manufactured. But I thought they were mirror images to each other and were CNCed.. Now I can understand what's going on

Considering when they started doing these kind of stuff I'd say it was amazing..

It looks like die cast then hand polished/finished. That would explain the error.

Also explains the cost.. Mold for die casting is just... F**king expensive
