Smith Chromapop Lens Tints Reference Guide
This gallery provides a visual reference for Smith lens tints as seen from the back, helping you compare different options side by side.www.sunglassscience.com
Oddly enough, I like Suncloud glasses (part of Smith Optics). I have 1 pair with the Green Mirror lens & about to have two more: a Rival model with the Sienna lens (bronze mirror) & a translucent green pair of Zephyr
Also still enjoying the Smith Optics Parallel 2 with the Ignitor lens. They are great for cloudy day driving, but my Ignitor lens is not polarized.
A nice thing about Parallel versions is the ease of switching the lens.
There are about four versions out there.
Parallel 1
Parallel Max
Parallel 2
Parallel Max 2
One thing about Suncloud, similar to Costa, ALL are polarized:

That Zephyr looks fantasticThere is a local pair of Guide's Choice for sale cheap, but they are huge & would definitely ride my cheeks.
blue-mirror lens
I started contacting someone today about some Kaenon Salton, after having just sold a pair of Half-Jacket 2 & a set of Pugs.
then I saw they do not have the SR-1 ULTRA lens, so I changed my mind
They are also tall lens with a wide bridge, so same issue as ever. It is tough finding stuff on the local market if you prefer half-rims.
They would be redundant with my glass-lens Costa anyway, the same green mirror on bronze base.
If Smith's Suncloud brand is anything to base an opinion on, then they are ace in my book.
Put these together this arvo & I love them:

This is the Zephyr model, the only problem I have with them is the fact that two screws hold the lenses in. They are just about microscopic!
The Parallel 2 with the Ignitor lens:

I put these on & sing that song from the Rocky Horror Picture Show:
"Rose Tint my world, keeps me safe from the trouble & pain!"
I have worn them indoors by mistake a few times, they are that light & comfortable.
The Zephyr feel about the same, but they are a base-curve NINE, while Parallel 2 is Eight.

I have since done more research about this. I have a set of glass Green Mirror lens here from an old set of Costa Tuna Alley.Do you know are Smith Optics Glass lenses equally rated?
I just sold on a pair of MJ Ho'okipa Ultra with the Blue Hawai lense.left home in Suncloud Zephyr:

this might be the second time I have seen a blue-mirror lens that gives a slightly bronze view:

the first being Oakley Prizm Polarized Sapphire
Have you tried their Maui Green lense??The Blue Hawaii is a little too plain for me.
Weird, because in-store it looked almost as good as the HCL Bronze on a Sugar Beach model.
Out in the real sun it fades back to just neutral.
I found another set online for only $40 that look to be in pristine condition with HCL Bronze READER lens.
I had already nearly bought a pair of Suncloud Zephyr with the reader (bifocal) lens, but I would rather they were High-Contrast Maui Jim.
Soon I will have two pair of Ho'okipa, & will likely Frankenstein them into one & sell one.
They are so light, it feels almost like you are not even wearing them.
