Hinge Repair on Large Metal Vault

Hello All,

I have a large XMetal Vault (rectangular with foam insert) that the spring load on the hinge no longer works. Anyone have any experience replacing or repairing the hinge to allow for auto closure via spring?

Dam that’s a pain, I have one that isn’t the “snappiest” but I get around this by just not opening up as I don’t want it to break
You could try something like the image below but I don’t know how you’d get around fixing it to the vault! I’ll check mine when home see if I can get any inspiration
