Holbrook XXL and Flak 2.0 XXL

Here’s a nice thread on the differences, they are basically a little wider and flatter to fit on faces with higher cheek bones, but they fit better on bigger heads too.

what about XXL vs XL flak?

If you have a big head it will also be bigger in the back, around the ears. Unless you are some sort of mutant......👽👾
And the XXL do not have wider ear stems, and they are in fact a bit shorter.

They most likely will become uncomfortable/hurt after prolonged use on a big head.

I own a pair of xxl. They are much more comfortable, for prolonged periods of time. The lenses are wider, the entire frame is wider.

How are they more comfortable on big heads.
put flak XL on top of XXL and see, the stems are not wider in the back, the two pressure points on the back of your head are the same on both XL and XXL.

And they are even 2 millimeter shorter. Garbage from Lux imo

I’m done arguing with you. They are wider in the front which makes them feel better (I wore them for many hours over several days and can confirm they DO FEEL BETTER). If my head was that big that they need to be wider in the back I’d just get a radar or zero frame. Good luck in your search for a frame that works.

Guess this solves all doubts about this topic. XXL is not really bigger than the XL, it just removes that little curve at the bottom of the lenses and adds maybe 1mm to it. That said, I do like the straight bottom better.

I don't understand how he can say that, when Oakley's site says 126mm for the XL and 132mm for the XXL. Perhaps these are temple lengths, but something's bigger on the XXL. That said, after wearing them on several occasions, for a few hours at a time, I don't really care for them. But then again, I don't really care for the XL, either. The XLJ, on the other hand, I find more comfortable and easier to wear.

I have the XXL 2.0 and while they are a small bit larger somehow than the XL 2.0 that video was correct. It’s not like a huge difference.
I have a medium to large head and the XXL 2.0 fits me better and the lens appears to be a little bit taller but not as tall as I wish it was. I wish it was like 2 mm taller and height, but it’s actually not and somebody mentioned here that the bottom of the lens is more straight across then curved up so that’s probably where the small difference comes in but they’re probably so close
I just wonder if the XXL 2.0 lenses can fit in the XL 2.0 frame and vice versa cause if they can then there really isn’t that much of a difference

These are nice. Just picked them up 30% off XXL
