If Oakley designed office supplies

So this is graphic designer Melissa Hui Wang's contribution in a challenge to come up with a hole punch, stapler and sharper. Not sure if it was part of class project, competition or industrial design proposal, but I could totally see my desk having these items on it.

Are they realllly worth $80? Because someone may come up with a really argument for paying $100 for stickies with an Oakley logo.

But my point is how much is too much would someone be willing to pay? My mistake here is I made an assumption no one would buy $80 for a pair a pens. Chalk it up to me being noob here.
I can’t judge too much because I always thought an office chair was an office chair until my wife’s company went out of business. They were getting rid of Herman Miller Embody chairs. We were able to get a few of those along with some other of their conference room chairs. We kept one embody chair and kept the 3 conference chairs. Each of those chairs were around $1500 each. We used to purchase chairs from Office Depot, but these things have held up very well. Still look and feel brand new. The quality is so much better. Would I pay that much for them, definitely.
But when it comes down to office supplies it’s the cost of an item someone would pay for.

Well, I'm a penmanship guy, and purchase custom or handmade fountain pens and others for my writing. My daily carry is a Fenix titanium tactical pen that retails for 70. It's not that I have a ton of cash to throw around, but I really enjoy my hobbies and invest in them.

Commutingtexan, we all have/had our hobbies. Years ago I was into hi-fi systems but I was on a low-fi budget. I had a subscription to stereophile magazine once which kept me informed and would give best buy recommended component suggestions for people like myself. Would my wife let me spend $4000 for speakers now- no way. Cd transports NO again. Not to mention speaker cables, interconnects the list goes on and on. Sorry I got off topic here.
