Is it genuine.. Romeo 1 frame (Video)

I too purchased a pair of fake R1's before I acquired an authentic pair, just wanting to make sure they would look good on my face.
Now I use them when I weedeat because they don't fog up like regular safety glasses tend to do, but that's the only good thing I can say about em.
The "coating" has started to peel off in several places, revealing that the arms are in fact made of two different metals, one is copper, and the other is most likely pot metal 🤷‍♂️. They are heavy AF, and the lenses are $hit, but since I use them for yard work that's no big deal.
The end of the ear stems are much smaller than the real thing, just like on the video.

Here's a couple of pic's. If need be I can try to get better pics when I get a chance, but I figure you can get the idea from these....

My $.02 I would highly recommend some Ballistic rated lenses for yard work.

I use Jawbreakers, and when weed eating and all those rocks get kicked up, I know Oakley lenses won’t break and cut my eyes.

Absolutely agree, I plan on picking up a pair of ballistics before the next mowing season starts.
Thanks for the recommendation of the Jawbreakers! They would be perfect! 🤘😆

Should see the comments on the YouTube link. There’s a guy claiming he did the work, but the details don’t match. Then some other clown is trying to weigh in.

Fred is banned and PayPal dispute is pending. Can’t do much else but wait and see what they come back with.
Well hopefully you get your money back
