Is this a cosmetic manufacturing defect, or will it lead to issues?

Okay you guys are very convincing hahaha. Does anyone have a photo of theirs? I'm super curious now

After checking every redux I have at hand, they all have this in the same place to some extent. Its safe to say this is just normal
 
Its where the plastic is injected into the mold, theres like 40 orbitals made at once in the mold and the molten plastic has to enter from somewhere. They all come out of the mold connected by a sort of christmas tree of plastic all in that spot. They get cut off of that and have to be smoothed out by hand. Some are done better than others and barely noticeable. Some are more obvious and look like yours. Not a defect as all just part of the process. The arms are held on by a little nubbin inside the hinge area. If you close the arm and look from the orbital area you should be able to see where they were cut off of the mold as well.
