VR28 BIP is what's in my XS. They do indeed look dark from the outside thanks to the black iridium coating.
In a Juliet, at 10 feet away, unless you're a wizard and the wearer has a lot of light leaking in behind it, you wouldn't be able to discern between BIP, VR28 BIP, or even OO BIP (and also much better to look through, unless you're into the boring grey stuff).
