Also it's really awesome how the X-Metals are built in such a modular way that they can be completely rebuilt from pieces even if all you have is one left stem. Also, sea water not being able to pwn the frames after who knows how long is proof these things are built for life. Man Oakley thought of and put everything into this series!

I found these in fresh water no salt.
They were covered about half way up from the bottom of the orbitals in mud. I thought they were a cheap pair of sunglasses. When I pulled them from the mud and shook them off. I kind of yelled underwater. No way that can be real!!

Thank you! I don't know about a finish yet. I was thinking either go back with the original X-metal finish or go with Carbon. I should really ask all of you because this is a community project now. What does everyone think and should I start a poll on frame color?

I think the finish should be your decision. You are wearing them and will remember the story when ever you see them.

I'd restore them with the xmetal finish, but that's just me. Can't wait to see them all completed!
