Iwata was my go-to for years but now I'm pretty sold on Grex....I have an Iwata set up. But It's been off and on for me the last couple of years. Right now I'm just trying to practice on being as smooth and even as possible. I should get better the more I do it.

Couple more practice runs. Both frames have imperfections. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I guess I just suck.
Looks good to me…other than the chip in the frame what are you seeing wrong that I’m not?
Aloha OF. Here's another Valve 1.0 project that I started before I ended up on Maui. Probably putting this together too soon, but looking to just move onto something different. So kinda just finished this one off quickly. Gonna end up being a work pair since it's far from perfect, and I was way happier with my last Valve project. This ones a decent effort that I hope lasts a while. That's the true test I suppose, is whether my finishes hold up or not. It's a 'metallic' red that could probably use a little more clear. But even if I do take it apart to work on an individual part, I'll probably keep it like this for a little bit. The lenses are Oakley black iridium. Since I've got a few of these b.i.'s just lying around. Lol.

Much Mahalo Bro. Still got a ways to go. But I'll get the hang of it eventually the more I do.
The next project primed and ready. This was the one that looked kinda like brass. But the finish on it was really bad and I couldn't fix it. Moving on....Last edited:
