I think it’s just saying put on a rubber, if you are thinking about getting weird with the shades.

They need to keep their nose out of my bedroom. What I do with my shades is my own business.

It's a label the state of California says you have to display on the box..... Everything known to man causes cancer in California . It's called prop 65.....
