Magswitch - How to take care

The mag switch is indeed made of magnesium but it's not volatile or explosive as what people make it sound like. FYI i did try and ignite one of these frames for testing purposes. It didn't go boom, so don't fret it with contact with water. Even sparks won't trigger a chain reaction.

The problem is with the coating they used on the frames, which are not very durable and are susceptible to corrosion. Warm soapy water is your best way to clean the sweat or sea spray (if you use it at coastal areas).

Damn Its more serious than I tought

Thanks for the tips guys

I will search for a used one to use more often

Is it better to store in the bag or put in a box or something?

Any chance of the lens crack down or the rubber melt ?
I am asking this because this happened to my Oakley Scalpel that was stored in the bag

I have scalpel rubbers for sale if you need them PM me.

damn you took the test until the last consequences lol

Thank you!

I am thinking to try some destilated water to wash, any chance to work or would be waste of money?

They are sticky but they are "retired", now I just keep in my "collection"

But if you do or know who has a New Zero 0.4 FMJ Iridium I'd be really happy to buy

Personally I'd say distilled water is a waste of money. Unless of course your tap water is extremely alkaline or acidic
