MUZM Mars

This is directly from one of Jim’s right hand men

Bodega got at least 4 pairs, and I can name 2 Oakley stores that for 6 pairs each. That’s 16 pairs in 3 stores not counting all the other 3rd party stores that got them, and other oakley stores that got them. When they did the Romeo Juliet set we couldn’t account for a single pair in the wild. I can personally count for at least 15-20 of these with out even trying to ask who got them.

That would make sense considering they were in the wild before release day.

You guys know 200 of these were made right, not 23? Also I know for a fact a lot of the OG’s that worked on the mars hate that they rereleased them now. I personally think the new ones are goofy, how about releasing a new pair of cool shades instead of straight redo of a famous pair.

it's called nostalgia-marketing and it works

Here is something to think about. Jim didn’t want to sell oakley, lux totally forced Jim’s hand. I’m not here to teach a history lesson but look it up. Most of Jim’s friends and longtime oakley employees were let go of. Now 15-20 years later Oakleys new original idea is to reproduce the stuff you and your team created.
