It’s not a remake go goggle it. Every bit of technology on the inside was update. You can have 2 computers look exactly the same but with different internals and guess what the one with the better internals sells for more. They normally refer to these as resto-mods. Has the vintage feel but has been completely reengineered.

So i guess you are partially right? I’m surprised even with the advances technology inside the machine it’s worth more than the original? But cool to know. But again what technology did oakley use in the new ones that weren’t used in the originals? I said early it would have been totally cool for a small redesign, using different leathers or even just one of the new lens technologies or colors or lenses but this is an exact replica.

google what prism technology. If you think prism technology makes them worth 1500 more than the original hahahahaha. Prism technology does nothing, it’s just a sales tactic. I know people that worked on the campaign for prism technology.

prism technology is just different base color that’s it. Most cases the base color was hardly changed at all.

I have an Romeo at home. It's 002187 (Yes that's right I call him Finn). That means there were 2187 made before it. Technically... It's a replica.

Again show me one reproduction that sells for more than the original. I worked in the antique and vintage furniture business for decades. I deal with remakes and stuff like that almost weekly. I have never ever seen one reproduced item ever than sell for more than the original. Again if you can show me one example.

Because this isn't a replica, it's a continuation of the same product manufactured with different methods... And of the same company
