So my girlfriend has an Oakley carabiner and the spring broke on it recently. So I've decided to go ahead and play with it as I've seen that nobody repairs these. This is the Carabiner disassembled. As I fix it and do mods to it I will update.
I had to drill the middle out of the round screw. I think the heat temp these together because there was no threading of any sort.
