Finally ordered the light assault leather boot for my on duty pair. $85 after tax not too shabby. Really wanted the multicam black brooks and some patches too but had to hold off..

The "light" assault boot? You know how that boot is.....right? just wanna be sure you know. It's very very thin up around the ankles so if you got hit there it will hurt.

Yea but anything is better than the crap rockies I was issued I can barely run let alone fight in those!

They're 8" but pure junk imho. About 10 lbs and fit like absolute garbage. Look like hell too lol.
