Yes - unfortunately we pay high prices in the UK for all products. Added tax, VAT etc always stings us in the UK. The UK Pound is very weak at the moment though - weakest it has ever been in history.

You may be better off keeping a constant search on ebay were you could get a new pair in your area for a better price but it could take a while. Patients is key

You casn take the peeling layer off but it won't make it clear. Use taoe on the lens and peel it back which will remove the coating.

I can do custom cut replacement lenses for these.
