No, @Dieseltech. Send that to my house now. You pay freight charges.
But, for real, I say use whatever case. It is not conventional, but make it yours.

I have AT&T now. Currently all my phones are LG worldband phones, meaning they'll work on any GSM network in the world. Since Verizon is a bastard and still uses CDMA along with their LTE, I could use any of my current phones for Verizon LTE but have no phone or text service. I've considered that option as well since you can do just about everything over data these days but in the end I feel like I'll need some sort of regular phone service besides data in this area. AT&T really isn't great here even outside of work. It's better than Tmobile was when I moved here (they're still building out an LTE network here) and I wouldn't trust Sprint with anything... Strangely at work I only know of one person who has Verizon and he said the service sucks for him too, but he uses an iphone and they are far from the best at holding cell signal in troublesome places. You can't unlock it and use it on AT&T? Or does it not have all the bands? Or is AT&T a no go in the boondocks? IF AT&T works, they do have the G Flex 2.
Yeah it's not an Oakley case but it is really nice. Our clerk wants to trade it for 3 pairs of Ray Bans. I have a hard time trading away my sunglasses. Even the non Oakley ones lol. I love them all! Lol
You'll be able to find more ray bans and have them shipped pretty easily. Well built wood display cases on the other hand, not so much.Yeah it's not an Oakley case but it is really nice. So my cell service at work has been absolutely horrible lately. It's never been good, but I had certain spots that I could go that I knew I'd get LTE, certain places that I knew I'd get reliable HSPA data, and I got basic call and text service in all but a couple spots with brief periods of no service that would go away on their own. For the past couple weeks I've had to hunt for service of any kind, often getting stuck with nothing in places that it shouldn't be a problem in. I understand that its very hard for radio waves to penetrate the building I work in reliably, but jesus. It's not like it never worked, but it just keeps getting worse and that pisses me off.
So anyway, I went out today and bought a cheap Verizon LTE phone just to see the difference, if any, between them and AT&T where I work. I've tried Tmobile since that's who I really liked when I was in the DFW area and its an absolute no go at work, no service anywhere. That's the be expected since they use much higher frequencies than ATT and Verizon, but I'm really hoping that 700mhz block from Verizon gives the extra building penetration needed to get at least reliable voice and text service. Data would be a huge plus too since on nights that I have good orders I spend a good deal of time on here and other sites.
So it looks like I'll be toting around 2 phones again for at least a couple weeks. If it turns out that Verizon is a substantial upgrade to what I'm using now I'll probably pick up a G4, Nexus 6, or something similar. Ideally I'd like to stay with something made by LG since I love the rear mounted buttons and the knock on features.

Don't fail to consider that it might be hardware failure, your old phone developing a problem / wearing out. Do you have a co-worker with AT&T with whom you can compare signals?
I think most of us here are used to seeing metal framed cases for their displays, but that doesn't mean a wood frame wouldn't look good, especially to an unbiased eye. Probably blend in better, too. I say go for it; you can always change later if you don't like it or something you like better comes along...
So you have all the providers, minus Sprint. LOLI have AT&T now. Currently all my phones are LG worldband phones, meaning they'll work on any GSM network in the world. I've had Sprint, I know better now. Verizon is slowly getting more reasonable as other companies are starting to challenge them in some markets. Until now I've never needed their service, now I'm hoping their spectrum hoarding works out in my favor. So you have all the providers, minus Sprint. LOL
I sometimes wish I had the guts to leave Verizon, but that unlimited data keeps me tied to the greedy red pig. I could go to AT&T since I have a $300 prepaid balance with them and they are good here.
