I had no intention of upgrading from my 3yr old 5s. It was in fine working order and was actually running a bit quicker on ios10. But Verizon gave me $400 for trade in. So my new 7 with 256gs arrived a few days later (Friday) and I couldn't be happier. It's a bit bigger which is great. Videos look great and Fat Finger mis-keys happen much less frequently. Great battery life and it's smokin' fast compared to the 5s. I hope to keep it for till iPhone 10 rears it's ugly head.

Wow. AT&T only wanted to give me $55.00 for my 5s. Not even worth it. Still waiting for a 32gig to come in. :( Congrats to you though. What does one do with 256 gigs though???

I had run into storage issues with my 16GB 4 and 5 so when there was a delay on 64GB 6, I went the whole hog and got the 128GB. Still have over 80GB free, despite about 2500 photos.

If I didn't have a dedicated MP3 player though, music would more than fill the rest so I guess a heavy, non-streaming music user would make a pretty big dent in that 256.

I spend a lot of time without wifi so I have my phone loaded with podcasts and audio books. When I got my 64g 5s I thought I would have plenty of room. But, of course, it filled up quickly. So I figured why not go whole hog and get 256g. Of course, if you don't purge once and awhile that will fill as well.
