Packaging Roulette

Bought a couple of items from eBay that both arrived today. The first was an E Wire 2.1 for about $55, which arrived enclosed in a microfiber bag inside this beastly tactical case I didn't even know was included...

The second item was a Penny purchased for several hundred dollars, which arrived loose inside an (admittedly well done) block of bubble wrap...

I thought the incongruity was funny since they arrived together, although it would probably just be annoying if they came on different days. The Penny seller indicated it would ship in some sort of cheap case even though no case was technically included...so they must have meant their bubble wrapping case . There isn't much of a lesson here, just have to ask for specifics about shipping and hope they follow through.

I got a $80 pair of sunglasses in a $50 Pelican box like that one time If I was not a gun guy I would have never known the box was worth that.

Great score on that case. That’s a square wire 2.0 though, not an e wire.

Well...damn, that's embarrassing. Thanks for pointing out the error. They had it mislabeled, and the orbital shapes are just close enough that I missed it. On the upside, it was still a good price, and I'm collecting all the wire models anyway.
