I honestly am not sure. The lens was in it when I purchased it and I've never removed it. Not sure how else I can tell.

Unless I remove the earsocks to look.

If you look at the very end of the ear stems you can probably tell what the frame color is without having to remove the ear socks. The ear socks don't normally cover all the way to the very tip of the end. Also I think that I remember you purchasing them from Billy (a Cali collector) and I remember seeing his ebay listing and they looked clear based on his pictures.
