I am sure this has been asked and I have searched the forum for the answer but could not find it. What exactly differentiates a prizm lens from any of the standard polarized lenses? Not just features and benefits, but what is it that makes a prizm lens a prizm lens.

The tints simply have more R&D to improve visual acuity for specific disciplines. Some versions are polarized, some aren't. Each to their own, but many people swear by the Snow and Road offerings.

Not sure about the technical reasons but the PRISM Road is the best lens I have ever used for cycling, particularly in low light..
