R1 pre 2000

I bought an R1 repair kit with all the rubbers, gaskets etc. The red socks are all Jordan sock but the black socks have Made in USA and no Ce on the other? Is this because of the age? Were socks in the 90's not stamped with Ce?

Any help would be gladly received.

18 sets of Jordan socks and 18 black. Sweet piece but it will be parted out. The red need to be on Jordan frames lol.

Here are a couple pairs from my Romeo shelf;

9243 has black earsocks without any markings....

024602 has black earsocks with only the 'Made in USA' and no CE markings.

so I would assume earsocks were originally red without markings, then black without markings, then black with Made in USA (no CE) and finally black with the addition of CE markings to comply with EU regs?
