I suppose it gives the frame some credence still. If you just refinished it and no Oakley markings i.e. Sku, some might think it is one of those metal fakes they have out there. Seen XX, Juliet's etc. More people in the know on here but, in the big bad world some people need that evidence they are genuine. Just my thoughts on it.
