Romeo 1 “X” insignia on bridge: sunken vs raised

I can assure you those two examples are in fact sunken or flush or whatever someone might call them.
My only question is did Oakley ever release Romeo 1’s with the sunken logo because everything I can find says they did not.

You are correct, I apologize maybe I wasn’t clear. The first two pic are examples of the sunken “X” insignia that I’m unsure are authentic. The second two pics (the 2 pics you replied too) are examples of the authentic raised “X” logo I used to seeing. I’m aware the second two are authentic, my concern is of the second two. I’ll show the two examples I’m inquiring about again.

I know the first example is of counterfeit Oakleys because the seller was caught removing one fake lens and placing an authentic Oakley lens in its place so he could take a pic of the fakes with a lens that had “X-Metal” etched in it.
I’m not asking if the logos are raised or sunken, I aware some Oakley enthusiasts never seem to be able to see counterfeits even when it’s clear. I know the light plays games with the pics but I can say for certain that the first two examples are is a picture of a sunken “X” logos. Please study the light before just jumping to the conclusion that they are all raised. Maybe placing the pics of the actual raised logos just confuses the matter and even makes the first two examples seem raised as well, but that’s not my question. I just needed to know if Oakley ever did release any Romeo 1’s with a sunken “X” logo on the budge? Very simple question.

You have answered your own question, to my memory I know of, no indents used for X Metals. They were made during the mould process.

This is raised buddy. It’s also an optical illusion that plays tricks on your mind. If you blink a bit you can also see this as raised and also sunken when you focus your eyes

I don’t understand how people can’t see the difference between the first two examples and the second two. If you just take a quick look, sure they all look the same. But if you really look at them, it is clear the first two are completely different then the second two examples. It’s like people have an aversion to admitting counterfeits are out there and their tech is getting better. I understand it can be unsettling to see fakes with serial numbers because some of us, like me, relied on that aspect to determine authenticity.
My only question was if Oakley had released some models with a different type of logo on the bridge. I am also aware that they say every X-Metal is a little bit different. I didn’t really think the debate would be that the sunken logos are actually raised.
