Romeo 2 vs Half X : Fit & Comfort

Just recently bought my first Romeo 2. Absolutely love the design on these but totally hate the fit.

The lenses rests on my cheekbones and it annoys me to no end. I tried changing the nosebombs to Linegears bigger sized nosebombs and it didn’t help.

I really want to love these as the design really speaks to me.

Now, my questions is to those who have both the Romeo 2 and the Half X. Do they fit similarly? If the R2 lenses touches my cheekbones, I assume the Half X will do the same?

I have both but don’t wear my only R2 since it still have the sticker on it. But the half x I wear all the time and never have issues with it touching my face.

I have both too, but the Half X is definitely more comfortable. Everyone has different facial features, so you will receive different feedback results. Neither models touch my face.

Like me... I am not helpful for talking you into the HX cause the R2 is probably as close to my favorite as it gets without being an XX. Reason... Wide head and sensitive temples. Might recommend the Penny or Juliet for you to try unless it is your just wanting a half open lens design.

I know people custom cut lenses all the time. In your opinion, could he or someone else just modify the lenses so they would not touch his face? I never had an issue like this before.

Good luck finding someone willing to cut a R2 lens. There are some willing to do it for themselves but the margin of error is high enough most won't risk it. You MIGHT find someone to do as suggested and trim a lens ... would have to ask the usual suspects and see who it willing.

I would be surprised if so... maybe it was an RX? RJ has steered away from the R2 in the past... unless @The Koonce bribed him with all that extra cash he has...
