Show Us Your Bike...

Thanks for the input on the tires. As for crank length, I think that's solely because this is a size small, so Canyon automatically packages such. I'm open to exploring a potential improvement, since the chain rings are smaller at the same time. It might even out and such.

172.5mm cranks come with the next size up. I'm at around 5'10" with 32" inseam. Per Canyon's chart it did seems the Small matched my TCR. I think atm just the narrow bars make it feel smaller, but frame itself feels at home.

Ok cool. I'm roughly your height and my preference since basically forever has been to use 172.5 on my road bikes. My track bikes have had 167.5 and 170mm but that is for obvious reasons to deal with velodrome banking.

If you end up not liking them it should be an easy eBay flip to get proper sized ones. I have seen the increased trend to go to narrow (er) handlebars lately. I still prefer 44 cm (center to center) deep drop round (gasp!) bars as those give good leverage out of the saddle for power climbs while being very comfy on the flats. They do slow steering inputs just a tad due to the increased length from bar end to head tube center but after 30-odd years I'm already used to it.

I really hope you enjoy riding the sh!t out of it. Definitely looks like a fun ride.

My Trek 4.3. OCLV full carbon frameset. A Kammtail Virtual Foil tube shape frame. Internal Cable routing. Setup with all Shimano 105 drive and brakes. With Bontrager carbon components. Weighs in at around 17 pounds. Added a Magellan Cyclo315 GPS Computer.
Great road bike for me. I actually bought this from a fellow forum member. Bought it from @Ecko less than a year ago. It looked like it was still sitting on the showroom floor. Not a mark on it. He said he preferred his mountain bike so never really rode the Trek. Still very much appreciate the deal.

You guys got rail-trails over there?

Haha. Mine is a road bike Trump. I gave up trail riding awhile ago

I know;)

We have "rail-trails" here. Its an old railroad system that they paved over with actual asphalt so we can ride road bikes on them

Oh. They have that here. Called the pinellas county bike trail. I do road riding.

Nice i wasnt sure if it was just central florida or not.

The paved trails are more for us amatuer folk;)

Theyre nice to take my daughter down and not have to worry about cars:car:
