Very cool to see your continued expansion of skills and techniques. The master metallurgist at work creating wearable art!Well after idk how many years messing around with blasting media, chemicals to darken titanium and anything else I could think of I think I've finally gotten the earlier darker x metal finish figured out. In the pictures the right arm and right orbital has been refinished, and the left arm and orbital is original x metal finish. It's a pretty early penny, under 100 serial so it should be a pretty reasonable example of the earlier x metal finish. And the last 2 photos are comparing the finish vs a part just blasted with aluminum oxide.

The pearl I used is a white particle supershift pearl. It's reasonably transparent if you use the right amount of it.How,just how did you get the ghost print to come through your finish?
The Stormtrooper MM returns This one inspired me back when for many of my customs (that you have done!) since. The first watch I cerakoted. Has held up pretty well over the years. Does 6 or so mall chips but shows less wear than a my brushed finish watches for sure. I think cerakote snow white has gotten a bit brighter white as well. As this compared to something I just did it's definitely a yellow shade white.
