Strangest way you have been the proud owner of a X-Metal?

Just curious to know if anyone has some interesting stories on how they got their X-Metals??

I once traded a guy some Troy Lee Racing Jackets and 30 years of Sport Radarlocks for Romeo 1 plus 75 bucks. LOL, He really wanted the Troy Lee's I guess.

Has anyone ever found a pair of X-Metals at a garage sale?

Sorry, nothing interesting here. Just retail purchases, ebay, and one trade here so far. Years ago, I did trade an old skateboard for a pair of (current at the time) original Eye Jackets.

I think I did well. I met a guy on our way to the cleveland bike show last year,had been conversing with him on CL. I bought a gold Romeo in pretty good shape minus nose bombs (which I had at home rootbeer and put new juliet earstems on them) a pair of OTT'S with bag and box and a pair of ice juliets no box for 760.00 dollars cash!!!!! average each pair 253.00 a piece.
