desert tan in a semi gloss,with a flat paint over time you would get shiney spots from wear,this semi is more durable to wear,some jarhead in the desert is gonna want these.

Am considering a bead blast also. How's that different from the x-metal base which these are? Btw, the frames are in really good shape.
