That right side, as you wear it, looks like something in where the flex coupler goes.

Also looks like either early casting marks or someone went hog wild tapping those pins out. Are the back side of the pins all mauled up?

It's the black rubber that's oozing out of the orbital nosepiece space.top is the after picture refinished in x metal and a proper tune-up.
