Those of us who are X-Metal freaks have seen this - some might have even um...driven by the site when in neighborhood?...

But for those who haven't this is the old X-Metal plant- this and nowhere else was the birthplace of those legendary frames we all know and love.

What's the building being used for now? Started as a golf club manufacturer; I'd imagine all the castings and stuff went with Oakley when they moved out.

The other year there was a real estate listing for this site, there's a thread about it somewhere. It included a bunch of interior pics and yes, it had been cleared out. I think I saved them somewhere, let's see if I can dig them out...
