Agree, that why I chose the model! While I like the look of the 861/1861/3861 movement, especially without a sodding great automatic rotor blocking most of the view, I think the caseback of the Hesalite Speedy with its NASA inscriptions is even more iconic.

I bought a Moonswatch to try and scratch the Speedy itch for a bit, but that was ultimately futile as it was less than a month before I bought the real thing! Come join us, you know you want to…Top-notch! Such an iconic piece. I hope to eventually add one to the collection.
I asked for a full service, as a pusher become reluctant to push..That is my favorite dial/color combo for the 2000 chronographs. I had the blue with the silver subdials, but mine was the model before yours where the 12 was luminous with the metallic outline. I got it at a good price being pre-owned, so I had to miss out on the white. It hurt my heart when the Aquaracer came out and they didn’t do the white / blue and replaced it with the silver / blue. If you don’t mind me asking, when you had it serviced, did you get to pay for just the quartz chrono service, or did they stick you for the “vintage” service that the site advertises for watches older than 20 years? Reason I ask is because I have a 1500 from 1992 I wanted to get serviced, but the price hike for the vintage service seems a little excessive…especially with the watch running just fine.
Where did you get the pin pusher kit? I just used the non-prong end of my Bergeon 6767 spring bar tool for the Speedy but if I’m going to get more Speedies I’ll probably be doing it more often!Picked up my first Oris! Just finished sizing and loving it!

I once owned a speedy, but it didn't survive a fall off a nightstand. $700 repair later..I bought a Moonswatch to try and scratch the Speedy itch for a bit, but that was ultimately futile as it was less than a month before I bought the real thing! Come join us, you know you want to…
