I would love a panda, but I refuse to pay non AD's prices.

No doubt! I remember 15 years ago they were taking about there being a 1-3 year wait list for a panda. It’s gotta be at least 5-7 years now. Agreed on the non AD prices. I don’t want anything so bad that I’m going to pay 40% over MSRP instead of waiting for it to come available.

A lot of watch folk are reporting that it’s getting back to them at time again, albeit not for the most desirable stuff. They’ve been able to walk into an AD and walk out with a watch, they’re not just for display now. Still a way to go for a steel Daytona I suspect but it’s a move in the right direction.

I think you are right about the less desirable models becoming more available. I gave the AD a list of 6 watches that I was interested in…figuring that casting a wider net would increase my chances for something I wanted coming available, and it only took 4 months for an OP I had asked for to come in. So it sounds like some of the entry level models are starting to be attainable in a more realistic time frame.
