Beautiful! I bought a Sea Dweller back in 2007 before they started doing the ceramic bezels. I much more prefer your no date Sub with the ceramic bezel. Such a clean and classic look.

I like them as well. Unfortunately, I parted with mine many moons ago. I especially regret it because now the regular sea dwellers have a cyclopes, and the deep sea lacks the cyclopes, but it’s just too big and heavy.

Speaking of the rubber strap, how do you like it? I was thinking of getting one for my 41mm OP. I haven’t done much research, but I assume that it would fit, I just wonder if the OP wouldn’t look as good as the divers, with it not being a sport watch.

Rubber strap is practical for myself as I now swim a lot. It's, durable & hard wearing. Preserving the original metal bracelet the rubber band is Everest, Just ordered a White faced Explorer 2,

I appreciate the info. Preserving the original bracelet would be the intended purpose of the purchase. I usually only wear mine with long sleeves to protect it from scuffs. Congratulations, I love the white Explorer 2…it’s one that I’m currently in line to get. I miss the days of just being able to walk in and pick out a Rolex and leave with it.

A lot of watch folk are reporting that it’s getting back to them at time again, albeit not for the most desirable stuff. They’ve been able to walk into an AD and walk out with a watch, they’re not just for display now. Still a way to go for a steel Daytona I suspect but it’s a move in the right direction.
