I drive a 94 Camaro. It just hit 100K miles today actually.

WOW. Those are serious restrictions! Imagine if you were a 18 year old Motogp rider and had to adhere to those rules?

Rustpot---I ride sport bikes and I would never ever go out without a helmet or full gear top to bottom. I have to say I saw a guy in the ICU once and he was MESSED UP bad, I mean he had broken ribs, a broken leg, something possible ruptured inside an I asked him what happened? He replied to me he got into a bike accident on his Harley making a u-turn and his foot or peg just grazed the ground and he lost it. I asked how fast he was going and it wasn't even 10MPH. Then he asked what happened to me because nothing looked wrong with me at all, I told him I crashed into a guardrail on my back at about 90MPH back first and I walked away from it fine and went to the hospital 5 hours later. His wife was even more pissed at him I think.
I'll never go on a ride without anything, not even a short one. I wouldn't risk it.

I feel like I rambled there.

I've always wanted to ride, but having personally witnessed people on the highways and surface streets here in Utah intentionally popping their doors open to try and strike bikers in traffic has scratched the idea from my list. That and being a dad.

Priorities.

That's just so messed up. What are those people thinking? One day they will pop their door open and it'll be a family member.

There's a reason Utah is known to have some of the rudest drivers in the country. Just Bing/Google "Utah bad drivers" and read page after page.

Ok. Hopefully nobody here from Utah is offended but this one was funny.

Utards learned to drive on a tractor that doesn't have blinkers, mirrors or go above 30 mph (in the fast lane).

I may reside in Utah right now, but my home state has always been and will always be New Mexico. And the vast majority of retarded Utah drivers are historic transplants from other areas (i.e. California, Texas, etc)
