The SP-1 or RC51 in the US is one of my all time favorite bikes. I still hope to pick one up someday. A 1000cc twin is a beast of a bike. It had a quirky design (radiators...) but I loved everything about it, esp the way it sounded with the right set of pipes on it.

Dangit! My webhost is longer up and running so I don't have any photos handy, but I daily drive a 4-door 2007 VW GTI - United Grey. 2.0 liter stage 2 turbo - 244whp; 26.5mpg combined, but I've hit as high as 36mpg on long hauls. I love it because it appears mostly stock - OEM+, in fact. People think it's a Golf/Rabbit with GTI parts swapped in because of the 20th AE badge, but no. It's a sleeper.
