That absolutely is Neil Ferrier, the guy behind the C6, Oakley Flask, and some other Oakley CF products. And the splatter is authentic as described.
He first tried to sell this 2 - 3 years ago on ebay, was asking $200 IIRC. Back then I was able to authenticate it through a friend at Oakley HQ but it ended with no bids.
Some time later Neil briefly joined the forum under his discommon moniker and I PM'd with him about it. At the time he wasn't really motivated to sell it but had listed it just to see if it'd get that much.
I guess now he's looking to move it for whatever the market will bear.
Well most bidders now a days wait to the last second to bid, so no, I’m surprised it didn’t go for more
